I'm a freelance photographer currently based in Washington, D.C. specializing in portraiture, event, and documentary photography.
I was born in a small town outside of New York City and gravitated towards the camera early on. My father was an avid photographer and instilled in me the importance of stories and preservation. I've always been captivated by people and their pasts.
I studied Gender & Women's Studies at the University of Wisconsin where I focused on health and identity. Since graduating, I've worked as an outdoor educator, built sustainable agriculture programs, and traveled throughout Latin America. I continued to study photography later in life at the International Center of Photography, which propelled me into my professional work.
My diverse background is a strength I bring to my photography. I've worked with farmers, indigenous communities to students, start-ups, and CEO's. These experiences and the relationships I build inform my work as a storyteller.
I'm available locally and on the road for portraiture, weddings, editorial work and community partnerships.
