I'm a freelance photographer focused on environmental portraiture, travel, events and documentary work. I am endlessly curious about community, culture, identity and the environment and how all of these elements intersect, which is what much of my work is rooted in. I'm mostly self-taught, but spent time later in life learning at the International Center of Photography in NYC, which propelled me into my professional career. Along the way, I received a degree in Gender & Women's Studies, taught environmental education, managed sustainable food programs, led trips for teenagers in Central America, and helped people navigate their careers.

When I'm not shooting you can find me on a yoga mat, exploring a new hike, cooking up a meal to share, or restlessly planning my next trip.

Once in a while, I also photograph love
